Cell-free DNA tests, 2/16

February 2016—NeoGenomics has expanded its liquid biopsy testing menu to include two new tests, a NeoLab Solid Tumor Monitor and a NeoLab BTK Inhibitor Acquired Resistance test. Each of the tests uses cell-free DNA from peripheral blood plasma without the need for tissue biopsies.

February 2016—Hamilton Storage introduced RackWare HD138 and HD60 high-density SBS-footprint racks for microtube and cryovial storage. Designed for use with Hamilton’s BiOS, SAM, and Verso sample management and storage systems, RackWare increases storage capacity by increasing the number of tubes that can be placed in an SBS-footprint rack. The racks can also be used to maximize storage in manual freezers.
