July 2016—SciGene introduced its MicroFISH Assay System, a clinically validated method combining microvolume, multiwell slides with SciGene slide processing instruments to perform routine cellular fluorescence in situ hybridization in cytogenetic laboratories.
July 2016—Invitrogen SuperScript IV VILO Master Mix from Thermo Fisher Scientific is a cDNA reaction master mix designed for two-step quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) applications. The master mix format uses variable input, linear output technology and combines optimized buffer conditions with Invitrogen SuperScript IV reverse transcriptase.
Under terms of an agreement with Illumina, ArcherDx will lead the development of a series of diagnostic tests, using ArcherDx’s Anchored Multiplex PCR chemistry, that will run on the Illumina MiSeqDx instrument.
