June 2014—Avanti JXN-26 centrifuges from Beckman Coulter have an intuitive interface and advanced data management features, including the ability to track and manage centrifuge runs remotely using MobileFuge, a mobile application for Apple iOS or Android devices.
June 2014—Techne added an in situ hybridization adapter to its Prime range of thermal cyclers. By inserting the adapter, a 96-well thermal cycler is converted to an in situ hybridization instrument that can accommodate up to four standard-size microscope slides with ±0.25˚C block uniformity.
