Audit MicroControls’ MicroFD urine chemistry control, two levels, is intended to simulate human patient samples for monitoring the precision of laboratory testing procedures for urine chemistry assays, including amylase, calcium, chloride, creatinine, glucose, magnesium, microalbumin, microprotein, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, urea nitrogen, and uric acid.
MicroFD has been assayed for Abbott’s Architect ci8200; Beckman’s AU680, Beckman’s DXC 600, and DXC 800; Roche’s Cobas 6000 and 8000 and its P-Modular; and Siemens’ Advia 1800, and Dimension RxL and Xpand Plus systems.
This lyophilized product has a shelf life of two years and a reconstituted stability of six days for set one and 10 days for set two when stored between 2° and 8°C.
