Magellan Diagnostics received FDA 510(k) clearance to market its LeadCare Plus Blood Lead Testing System in the U.S. for the quantification of lead levels in blood.
LeadCare Plus has a compact footprint, single use consumables, and electronic calibration, and makes blood lead testing accessible for labs of any size. The system is based on Magellan Diagnostics technology that has been in clinical use for nearly two decades and that is in use at more than 6,000 locations, helping clinicians rapidly test and identify individuals who suffer from lead exposure.
