January 2024—MeMed announced that the FDA has granted 510(k) clearance for the company’s MeMed BV test for use on whole blood samples on the MeMed Key analyzer. The test accurately measures multiple proteins present in low concentrations from a small volume of whole blood and helps health care providers distinguish between bacterial and viral infections in 15 minutes.
