July 2023—General Data Healthcare’s Flex is the latest addition to its LaserTrack portfolio of cassette printers.
Cassette capacity starts at 480 cassettes and can be upgraded to a capacity of 800 cassettes. The printer uses technology that the company says produces razor-sharp, high-resolution text and barcodes that deliver a greater than 99 percent first-time scan rate. The standard configuration prints directly on the face of a cassette but can be upgraded to also print directly on one or both sides of a cassette. Flex software can be interfaced with most major LIS and LIMS systems.
