Leica Biosystems, in partnership with Indica Labs, has launched the HALO next-generation image-analysis software. The HALO platform is fast, scalable, and user-friendly and is for Aperio ePathology image analysis. The platform features Indica’s portfolio of morphometric and colorimetric analysis tools for neuroscience, metabolism, oncology, and toxicological pathology.
HALO provides cell-by-cell results, making it suited to quantification of cell-based immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization assays. Analysis can be performed across large studies of whole slide images or on single field-of-view images. HALO’s modular design supports affordable, small-scale, desktop environments and high-throughput multi-node networked environments.
