May 31, 2022—Leica Biosystems launched Bond-Prime, a high-speed immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization staining platform. Universal Access enables laboratory technicians to load slides in any combination with any reagent at any time and seamlessly adapts to incoming workflows—batch, continuous, single slide, or stat cases. The system features 70 open-access reagent positions and has the capacity to process up to 72 slides.
“With IHC turnaround time shortened to an average of only 90 minutes, and 100 percent instrument utilization without constant attention, the Bond-Prime stainer’s impact on workflow is truly impressive,” Colin White, senior VP of advanced staining and imaging, said in a company press release. Single or stat slides may be turned around in as little as one hour.
