Seegene submits EUA for SARS-CoV-2 multiplex assay

May 2021—Seegene announced it has submitted its Allplex SARS-CoV-2/FluA/FluB/RSV Assay to the FDA for emergency use authorization.

The real-time RT-PCR assay can simultaneously detect and differentiate eight target genes, including flu A, flu B, RSV A/B, and three different target genes of COVID-19—S, RdRP, and N genes. The assay also includes dual targets for internal control in the same reaction tube. The test is available in Europe and elsewhere around the world.
