Sysmex CRC kit gets approval in Japan

November 2019—Sysmex Corporation has obtained Japanese manufacturing and marketing approval for the OncoBeam RAS CRC Kit, used for blood-based circulating tumor DNA molecular testing of mutations in the RAS gene for advanced colorectal cancer patients. The approval marks the first approval of a liquid biopsy test in Japan, according to the company. The kit was jointly developed by Sysmex Inostics and Merck.
