- Diverse experience, knowledge, and responsibilities within the CAP’s governance structure (project teams, committees, commissions, and councils).
- Ability to articulate the CAP’s mission and vision and to drive longterm strategic planning.
- Past or present leadership roles in non-pathology organizations.
- Strong business skills and financial experience.
- Experience serving on boards of other organizations.
- Knowledge or influence in political circles, medical industry, health care insurance, or regulatory/government circles.
- International business experience outside the CAP.
- Diversity of cultural background and age.
