Versant Dx launches strategy to accelerate digital pathology

April 21, 2022—Versant Diagnostics has announced a strategy to “drive the digital revolution in pathology,” with a focus on anatomic pathology, precision medicine, and the digital transformation of the industry. The company said it is positioning itself to become the nation’s largest independent physician services company by acquiring independent pathology practices and providing capital for practices to convert to digital pathology while maintaining physician leadership.

“Our goal is to be a leading catalyst in improving medical diagnostics through the convergence of the latest technology and leading physicians,” Jim Billington, chief executive officer, said in a press statement.
