Other product enhancements include the expansion of the MALDI Biotyper reference libraries, which now cover more than 4,000 species or species groups, and the IR Biotyper 3.1 software, which connects the IR Biotyper for strain typing for hospital hygiene management with the MALDI Biotyper. IR Biotyper products are not for use in clinical diagnostics procedures.
