“With a 20-slide capacity, the 5-20 Series mirrors the existing workflow of traditional slide folders and allows pathologists to keep all the slides related to a single case together. The random-access capability also allows the pathologist to determine the order of slide review,” Martin Stuart, PhD, president and CEO of Mikroscan, said in a press statement.

The research use only 5-20 series was designed to aid in pathologists’ evaluation of frozen sections, fine-needle aspirates, dermatopathology, safety assessment in drug discovery, clinical research, and education.
