Bio-Rad, Element Biosciences to deliver RNA sequencing workflow

March 2023—Bio-Rad Laboratories and Element Biosciences announced a partnership to demonstrate the capabilities of the Bio-Rad Sequoia RNA sequencing library preparation portfolio on the Element Aviti benchtop sequencer.

Aviti’s novel Avidity sequencing chemistry can be adapted for use with Bio-Rad’s Sequoia Complete Stranded RNA library prep kit and Express Stranded RNA library prep kit to obtain RNA sequencing accuracy and repeatability among samples and different RNA inputs. The Aviti features two flow cells that operate independently and delivers up to 2 billion reads of combined sequencing output.
